Apple TV+ Cancels “Time Bandits”

After just one season, Apple TV+ has pulled the plug on Time Bandits, the adaptation of the 1981 Terry Gilliam movie.  The streaming series starred Lisa Kudrow.

The Hollywood Reporter indicated that critics were largely positive about the show saying it was “actively funny” and “clever”.   But less than four weeks after its 10-episode first season wrapped on August 21st, the series has been canceled.
