Application Process for Vacancy in the Eighth Judicial District Opens

[ST. PAUL, MN] – The Commission on Judicial Selection Wednesday announced a vacancy in Minnesota’s Eighth Judicial District.

The vacancy will occur upon the retirement of the Honorable Jennifer K. Fischer.

The seat will be chambered in Willmar in Kandiyohi County.

Judge Fischer agreed to retire from the bench, leading to the dismissal of a formal misconduct complaint filed against her by the Minnesota Board on Judicial Standards in July of this year.
