Archery Deer Hunters Urged to Keep Safety in Mind

Minnesota hunters need to keep safety in mind as they head out this weekend to kick off the archery deer season. D-N-R Big Game Coordinator Paul Burr says hunters should let someone know their plans before they head out so that someone can be aware of where you’ll be and how long you plan on being out. Burr says you should also be doing equipment checks on everything from bows to tree stands and harnesses. A full list of safety tips and more information can be found on the D-N-R’s website.
