ARREST MADE IN DRIVE-BY SHOOTING IN MONTEVIDEO

A man is in custody following a drive-by shooting in Montevideo.  According to police, an adult male was arrested on felony charges Wednesday in connection with a shooting that targeted an occupied residence.  The suspect has not yet made an initial court appearance.  Police acknowledge community concerns and emphasize that multiple reported drive-by and related shooting incidents are under active investigation.  Officials say public safety remains their top priority and credit strong collaboration with the CEE-VI Drug/Gang Task Force.  Chippewa County sheriff’s Office, the Minnesota DNR, BCA and other agencies for their efforts.  Authorities encourage anyone with information to contact the Montevideo Police Department.
