AUTHORITIES SEARCHING FOR JUVENILE WHO ESCAPED FROM BLUE EARTH COUNTY DEPUTY
Authorities continue to search for a 17-year-old who they say escaped from a Blue Earth County deputy near the Carver County Government Center Sunday morning. Authorities say the teen escaped around 8:30 am and there was a large law enforcement presence in Chaska and Carver including K-9 units, the state patrol and multiple drones. Officials say there is no threat to the public. The Carver County Sheriff’s Office said the search was called off Sunday afternoon without the teen being found. The teen is described as a black male wearing a black jacket, blue pajama pants and no shoes. He is 5-foot-8 inches tall and approximately 140 pounds. If you see a teenager matching this description, you are asked to call 911.
