AUTHORITIES SEARCHING FOR PURSUIT SUSPECT

The Renville County Sheriff’s Office and the Redwood Falls Police Department are looking for a suspect who led authorities on a pursuit Sunday.  Authorities say the pursuit ended within the Redwood Falls city limits and the driver then fled on foot and was last seen wearing a black shirt and gray sweatpants.  Officers responded to a report of a person matching the suspect’s description who was located inside a garage later Sunday afternoon.  The person fled on foot before officers arrived.  Redwood Falls police are urging you to be vigilant, make sure vehicles, garages, sheds and homes are securely locked and if you see any suspicious activity, report it to law enforcement immediately.  Authorities have not released a full description of the suspect.  The investigation is ongoing.
