B THE LIGHT CHOSEN BY 100 WOMEN WHO CARE

100 Women Who Care have selected their latest organization to receive funding.  B The Light will be the latest beneficiary of a $10,000 donation after being chosen Sunday  at the New Ulm Country Club.  B the Light was founded by breast cancer survivor Amber Melby of New Ulm and provides support and fosters connections and gives hope for breast cancer survivors, their caregivers and their families.  B the Light has served nearly 500 people and the interest is rising.  It has expanded beyond New Ulm to Mankato and other neighboring communities.  New Ulm’s Own and the New Ulm Area Emergency Food Shelf were also up for consideration Sunday.  Pro Kinship for Kids was the latest recipient of the $10,000 donation.  100 Women Who Care meet every six months to select its next donation recipient.
