Boy’s Baskebtall:

Springfield wins the Tomahawk/Valley Championship game, 70 to 68, Cedar Mountain picks up an 82 to 36 win over GHECML/Truman, St Mary’s defeats Cleveland 72 to 58, Lesueur/Henderson defeats Maple River 55 to 54 and West Central was a 70 to 69 winner over BOLD./ Non-league finals-Belle Plaine defeats LCWM 70 to 47, Sibley East was a 64 to 58 winner over Nicollet, St Peter defeats Central 75 to 42, Fairmont was a big winner over St Clair 71 to 29 and Marshall defeats Willmar 75 to 55.

Section Girl’s Basketball finals:

3A-Central Minnesota Christian was a 55 to 33 winner over Lakeview and will play MaCCray, who defeated Minneota 63 to 62. Hills/Beaver Creek gets by Westbrook/Walnut Grove 48 to 35 and will play Adrian Ellsworth, who defeated SW Minnesota Christian 57 to 47 on Friday night.

3AA-New London/Spicer advances with a 72 to 27 thumping over Morris Area, Minnewaska Area defeats Ker/Mur/Sun 59 to 32. Jackson County Central was a 72 to 56 winner over Redwood Valley and Fairmont defeats Pipestone 70 to 49. Winners play Thursday in Marshall.

MIAC Men’s Basketball Tournament:

Hamline picks up a home win over Concordia 74 to 59, the Pipers head to Collegeville on Thursday and Carelton defeats Augsburg 73 to 57 and will head to St Peter Thursday night.

MIAC Women’s Basketball Tournament:

St Benedict picks up a 68 to 64 road win over Concordia, the Blaze head to Bethel on Thursday. Hamline was a 73 to 61 winner over St Mary’s, the Pipers travel to St Peter Thursday night.
