Benson Family Involved in Accident in Meeker County
A Benson family was involved in a three vehicle accident in Meeker County on Tuesday morning. A Chevy Silverado driven by 42-year-old Matthew Ray Ollendick of Benson was traveling east on County Road 27, attempting to enter Minnesota Highway 15. A Toyota Highlander driven by 72-year-old Susan Ann Drury of Milaca was southbound on Highway 15 and a Ford Explorer driven by 27-year-old Calvin James Bentz of Roseville was northbound on Highway 15 when all three vehicles collided in Kingston Township. Drury was taken to Hutchinson Health with non-life threatening injuries. No one else was taken to a health care facility, but Bentz, Ollendick and passenger Reena Ollendick of Benson suffered non-life threatening injuries. A juvenile Ollendick had no injuries. The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office, Mayo Ambulance, Dassel and Cokato Fire Departments assisted the State Patrol.
