Bob Hultgren

The elder statesman of the Announcing staff is Bob Hultgren.  

Born and raised on a small farm near Kennedy, Minnesota, Bob has been employed at TRF Radio since 1989, and has held a number of different positions within the company, where he has been the morning guy since 2007.  He also taught broadcast classes at the local Community College in the late 1990s.  

For close to 30 years he was the trackside announcer at several stock car tracks, and for several years announced/broadcast cross country snowmobile races.   Along with providing play-by-play for an unknown number of high school sporting events. 

He and his wife Nona have made their home in Thief River Falls since 1989.  When not at the station, Bob likes to ride his Gold Wing, is active in his Church and cherishes time spent with his four grand-children.
