Boy Injured in Sauk Rapids Nerf Wars
(Learfield News/Sauk Rapids, MN) — Sauk Rapids police are warning children and their parents about Nerf gun wars after a boy was hit by a vehicle.
Officers were called to a pedestrian vs. vehicle crash Saturday afternoon.
Authorities say high school-aged juveniles were involved in Nerf wars, when a 16-year-old boy from Rice was accidentally run over while hiding on the ground.
The victim was brought to St. Cloud Hospital and remains there for observation.
Police encourage everyone to cease Nerf wars before there is a fatality.
