Brown County Boy Drowns in Southern MN
The incident happened Sunday afternoon in Brown County.
The Brown County Sheriff’s Office says deputies learned the drowning happened off the beach at Mound Creek County Park in Sanborn, Minnesota, just after 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
A teenager from Mountain Lake, Minnesota, was swimming and began to struggle before he went under the water and didn’t resurface.
The identity and official cause of death will be released at a later date by the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office.
It remains under investigation.
