Buxton named to Team USA

(Minneapolis, MN/Minnesota News Network) — Minnesota Twins star Byron Buxton will represent the United States of America in the World Baseball Classic this Spring. The Twins outfielder was added to Team U-S-A’s roster yesterday. This will be Buxton’s first World Baseball Classic. He hit .264 with 35 home runs and 83 R-B-I with Minnesota in 2025.
