CAR HITS MANKATO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Mankato police are investigating after a car ran into the Mankato Kennedy elementary School building this (Thursday) morning.  Police say there are no reports of injuries and they don’t believe it was an intentional act.  A structural engineer assessed the building and then the vehicle will be removed.  Students were evacuated to Mankato East High School and parents were asked to pick up their kids right away.  The investigation is continuing.
