Willmar Woman sentenced in rape case

A Willmar woman has been sentenced to a year in jail for assisting in a rape that happened in 2022. Chippewa County Cannabis Moratorium

Chippewa County has placed a moratorium on issuing licenses for cannabis sales. Willmar School evacuated

Kennedy Elementary School in Willmar was evacuated Tuesday, after reports of a gas smell in the building. District officials say no one was harmed by the reported gas or the evacuation as students were evacuated to the Willmar Educational and Arts Center.
