Charles “Charlie” James Foskett, Jr
Charles “Charlie” James Foskett, Jr, age 87 of Le Sueur, passed away peacefully on January 7,
2026 at Oak Terrace in Le Sueur. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday,
January 19, 2026 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Le Sueur. Visitation will be held 4-7 p.m.
Sunday, January 18, 2026 at Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur, with a Knights of Columbus
Rosary, 3:45 p.m. Visitation will continue the next morning from 9-10:15 a.m. Interment will be
in Calvary Cemetery, Le Sueur.
Charles was born on June 24,1938 in St. Peter, MN to parents Charles Sr. and Lucy (Doktor)
Foskett. He grew up in Le Sueur, attending LeSueur High School, class of 1956. He married
Shirley Carlson on April 27,1957. They later divorced in 1979. He married Beverly Bliss,
August 19, 1995. He worked for Osborn Laboratories and finally Savage Canning Company
until his retirement in 2003.
Charlie was known as a tireless worker who believed in doing a job right and giving his best in
all that he undertook. His strong work ethic was matched by his deep love for his family, who
were always at the center of his life. He was a steady presence, offering support and strength to
those who knew him. He enjoyed time spent at LeSueur County Pioneer Power, the American
Legion, the VFW and his time in the Knights of Columbus.
He was also very proud of his 26 years of service to his country in the Army Reserves.
Above all, Charlie will be remembered as a loving family man, a dependable friend and a man of
integrity.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly; children, Terry Foskett of Prior Lake, MN, Nancy (Randy)
Anderson of Mankato, MN, Susan (Tim) Underwood of Cleveland, MN, and Charles Foskett III
(Brenda Pickus) of Le Sueur, MN; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, with a new
addition on the way in February.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents.
