Charles Eugene Foslien, age 88 of Royse City, Texas, passed away on February 15, 2024.

Visitation for Charles Foslien will be held Friday, April 19, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at West Moe Lutheran Church in Brandon, MN.

Memorial services for Charles Eugene Foslien will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 19, 2024 at West Moe Lutheran Church in Brandon, MN.

Burial will be in West Moe Lutheran Church Cemetery in Brandon, MN.

Military Honors by the American Legion Post 278.

Charles Eugene Foslien, was born July 16, 1935, in Brandon, MN, to Mildred (Sarsland) and Rueben Foslien. Charles graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. On June 4, 1960, he married Gwendolyn Clarke Foslien in Alexandria, MN. Charles was a veteran of the United States Army, serving from 1953 to 1955 during the Korean War. During his career, he was a registered professional engineer in the state of Missouri, worked for the Federal Highway Administration from 1960 to 1987, and was Division Administrator in the Minnesota office. During his free time, he loved woodworking, painting, and building things.

Charles leaves behind his loving wife: Gwendolyn Foslien; son-in-law: Craig Nash; daughter-in-law: Trina Peters Foslien; grandchildren: Clint Nash and wife Marla, Christie Nash Childers and husband Matthew, Connor Nash, Colton Nash, Reyna Foslien, and Erik Foslien; great-grandchild: Harrison Nash; and brother: Floyd Foslien.

He has been united in heaven with his parents; son: Keith; daughter: Cynthia; sister: Bonnie; and brothers: Roylie, Myron, and Stanley.
