Cheri Tishman
Celebration of Life for Cheri Tishman of Coral Springs Florida (formerly from Le Center) will be held at the American Legion Post 108 in Le Center on Saturday July 26th from 10 to 2 with military honors at 11:30.
She was born to Bob and Lora McMillen of Le Center MN, on Jan. 9th 1961 and died June 13th 2025
She graduated from Le Center High School and joined the United States Navy in 1981. She received her bachelor’s degree Summa Cum Laude from Southern New Hampshire University with a Bachelor of Science in Business, majoring in Accounting. She loved playing competitive tennis, dancing, and photography.
Cheri leaves behind her husband Michael, her sons Mike (Rachel) and Nic and her bonus daughter Ashley Blackwell( Josh) and Grandchildren Malory and Brandt (all of Florida) Her loving in-laws Judi and Joe Walsh of Fort Lauderdale Florida and her Minnesota siblings, Terri McMillen, Julie Harmon (Jim), Jim McMillen (Susie), Mark McMillen (Barb), and Barb Oak (Andy). Also mourning her death are her dear Aunts Mary Doherty, Mary Twomey and Carol Lunn. Her Uncle Ron Lunn , and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
