CHERYL ANN COLLINS

CHERYL ANN COLLINS, age 76 of Le Sueur, died Friday, April 11, 2025, at Mayo Clinic Health System – Mankato.

She was born on July 12, 1948, in Saint Peter. She was the daughter of Glen Herbert and LaVonne Marie (Koepp) Stoering. In 1964, her family moved from Waterville to Le Center. On October 15, 1966, she was united in marriage to Robert Otto Collins at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Le Center. Throughout her life, she held many jobs, working in a beauty shop, Park Place Grill, Veens Super Value and Le Sueur County from where she later retired. Cheryl loved going to wineries, attending church on Sundays, spending time with her grandchildren, bird watching, sporting events, especially golf and her daily morning Facebook posts will be missed by all who knew her. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Le Center.

She is survived by her husband, Bob; son, Eric (Shanah) Collins of Le Sueur; grandchildren, Amanda (Sam) Ranta of Le Center, Peyton Collins of Le Center, Brittany (Austin) Valdez of Colorado, Bethany (Justin) Sahli of South Dakota, Cameron Moore of Kansas; great-grandchildren, Jameson, Wyatt, Kinsley, Colton, Elijah, Carson; siblings, Bonnie (Les) Hartwig, Terry Stoering; sister-in-law, Kathy Christensen, as well as several nieces, nephews and other extended relatives. She is preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, Thomas Jameson, her grandparents and brother-in-law, Dennis Christensen.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Le Center. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM at the church with Rev. Heath Queen officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Le Center. In Lieu of Flowers, please make contributions to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Le Center. The Le Center Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
