CITATION ISSUED IN RURAL REDWOOD COUNTY COLLISION
The Redwood County Sheriff’s Office was called to a collision near the intersection of County State Aid Highway 224 and Noble Avenue Friday morning around 3:04 am. The sheriff’s office says a Chevrolet Equinox collided with a Jee Cherokee and both vehicles ended up in the ditch. The driver of the Equinox, 30-year-old Coles James Reinarts of Sleepy Eye admitted to not stopping at the stop sign. His passenger, Francheska Montemayor of Sleepy Eye was treated at the scene for minor injuries. The Jeep was driven by 28-year-old Zaya Luee of Redwood Falls. His passenger, Angelina Arnold of Willmar was taken to CentraCare Hospital in Redwood Falls with non-life threatening injuries. A citation was issued but no arrests were made. The Lower Sioux Tribal Police Department and CentraCare ambulance assisted at the scene.
