CITY COUNCIL APPROVES BUDGET AND LEVY

The New Ulm City Council adopted the 2026 budget Tuesday at $29.1-million with a total property tax levy of $11.2-million.  The levy covers 43% of the city’s budget with another 20% of the city’s revenue coming from Local Government Aid.   The levy represents a 7.36% increase from last year.   This is City Manager Chris Dalton…

The city council didn’t make any changes to the budget or levy since the Truth-In-Taxation Hearing December 2 and unanimously approved the budget and levy.
