Coldest Air of Season Arrives in Minnesota This Week

(Chanhassen, MN) — It’s been chilly for a few days in Minnesota, but the coldest air of the season arrives late Thursday.

National Weather Service Meteorologist Ryan Dunleavy says Friday is going to be frigid.

He says the forecasted high temperatures will be minus-10 degrees in the Twin Cities and 20-below zero in northwestern and parts of northern Minnesota.

Dunleavy says many areas have seen 30 to 35-below zero windchills the past couple days.

He warns it will be even colder Thursday through Saturday.
