College BB Scores From 01/21

The University of Minnesota women’s basketball team notched a much-needed road win last night at Oregon 65-60. The 13-6 Golden Gophers improved to 4-4 in the Big Ten after building a 13-point fourth quarter lead. Senior guard Amaya Battle of Hopkins led the way with 20 points, while junior Grace Grocholski (gruh-HULL-skee) added 19 points and six rebounds. The host Ducks rallied to within three-points late in the game, but Minnesota held on. Gopher head coach Dawn Plitzuweit says they did have to hold on late to win after making a few miscues against the press.

Oregon fell to 14-7 overall and 2-6 in the Big Ten. The Gophers host Wisconsin on Sunday at Williams Arena at 2 P-M.

Gustavus defeats St Scholastica 61 to 49 and Bethany Lutheran holds off Martin Luther to pick up a 60 to 58 win.

Men’s Basketball:

Gustavus remains unbeaten in the conference, with a 92 to 56 win over St Scholastica and Martin Luther defeats Bethany Lutheran 78 to 72.
