College Hockey this weekend

(undated/Minnesota News Network) — The University of Minnesota men’s hockey team closes its season-long, six-game homestand inside 3-M Arena at Mariucci as it hosts No. 5 Penn State for a Big Ten Conference series tonight and tomorrow. It’s the final home series on the 2025 portion of the schedule. The Gophers are coming off a split against Long Island last weekend including a 6-3 victory last Saturday. Minnesota is 5-8-1 on the season and 2-2-0 in the Big Ten Conference. In the N-C-H-C this weekend, Minnesota Duluth will face Colorado College for a pair in Colorado Springs. St. Cloud State will also be on the road for two against Miami, Ohio. In the C-C-H-A, the Beavers will be home to take on Northern Michigan in Bemidji while St. Thomas will have Bowling Green at the Lee & Penny Anderson Arena in St. Paul. Minnesota State will host Michigan Tech for two straight in Mankato. In the W-C-H-A, the Gopher women will have Minnesota State at Ridder Arena tonight at 6 P-M and tomorrow afternoon at 2 P-M. The Gophers are 12-2 on the season and 6-1 on home ice. Elsewhere, St. Cloud State will be at Bemidji State, Minnesota Duluth will host Ohio State and the Tommies are in Madison to face Wisconsin.
