died Friday, May 17th at Mayo Clinic Health System Hospital Mankato.  Survivors include,

Wife:  Karry Helgestad of New Prague

Children:  Lucy & Samuel

Parents:  Jim & Pauline Helgestad of New Prague

Father- and Mother-in-law:  Doug & Connie Petersen of Worthington

Sister:  Nekaya (Thomas) Simpson of Elko New Market

Celebration of Life Service, Tuesday, May 28th, 10 AM at St. Wenceslaus Church.

Visitation 4-7 PM, Bruzek Funeral Home on Monday, the 27th.  NO morning visitation.

Private Family burial Ft. Snellling National Cemetery Tuesday afternoon where military honors
by the US Army National Guard Honors Team will be conducted.
