COMMUNITY NOTIFICATION MEETING IN WALNUT GROVE

The Redwood County Sheriff’s Office says a community notification meeting is scheduled for Wednesday in Walnut Grove.  The sheriff’s office says a level three predatory offender 55-year-old Duane Swanson is scheduled to move to Walnut Grove Thursday.  The sheriff’s office says Swanson has served his sentence that was imposed on him by the court and is transitioning into the community.  The notification meeting is scheduled for 5:30 pm Wednesday at the Walnut Grove Community Center and authorities say it not intended to increase fear but to raise awareness.  Representatives from the Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Corrections will be on hand to provide information and answer questions.
