COMPASSIONATE FRIENDS CANDLE LIGHTING SUNDAY

The Compassionate Friends World Wide Candle Lighting ceremony is Sunday and Redeemer Lutheran Church will host South Central Minnesota’s chapter of the event.  Compassionate Friends designates the second Sunday in December as Worldwide Candle Lighting to unite family and friends around the world to honor memories of sons, daughters, brothers, sisters and grandchildren who have gone too soon.  The South Central Minnesota Chapter will meet at 6 pm Sunday at the church at 700 South Broadway in New Ulm.  A potluck will be served at 6 with the candle lighting at 7 pm.  There will also be live music, poems, helpful personal insights and a slide show of loved ones.  If you want to submit a loved one’s picture for the slideshow, email the chapter at tcf south central mn at gmail dot com.
