CORCORAN MAN CHARGED IN MANKATO PEDESTRIAN INCIDENT
A Corcoran man has been charged with criminal vehicular operation stemming from an incident that seriously injured a New Ulm woman earlier this month. The Mankato Department of Public Safety reviewed video footage that showed the victim, Marek Armstrong, interacting with someone on the passenger side of a truck. The driver, 25-year-old Joseph Ray Beck Revering, then accelerated with Armstrong’s arm still inside the vehicle. She fell and hit her head on the pavement and suffered a fractured skull, multiple brain bleeds and extensive bruising. Revering was charged in Blue Earth County Court. The passenger did tell authorities that Revering was driving but didn’t remember much due to being intoxicated.
