COUNCIL ENTERS INTO CONTRACT TO PREPARE COST ESTIMATES FOR HERMANN MONUMENT PROJECT

The cost of the contract is over $103,000.  The plan is to remove the Hermann and lion statues from the monument and then start disassembling the monument dome and base.   Schugel said MacDonald and Mack expects to have the documents completed within eight weeks of signing the contract.
