CRASH NEAR COURTLAND

Two people were hurt in a collision on Highway 14 near Courtland Friday morning.  The state patrol was called at 7:44 am to the collision between a Subaru SUV and a Chevy Silverado pickup near mile marker 115.  The Silverado was driven by 30-year-old Naomi Hatfield of New Ulm.  She and her passengers 40-year-old James Lane of New Ulm and a 5-year-old boy were all taken to Mankato Mayo Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  The driver of the SUV 21-year-old Mikayla Peterson of North Mankato wasn’t hurt.  There was snow and ice on the road.  Courtland Fire Department, the Nicollet County Sheriff’s Office and Allina Ambulance all assisted at the scene.
