Curtis Gene Quisberg
Curtis Quisberg, age 88 of Morris, Minnesota, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2025 at Stevens Community Medical Center in Morris, MN.
Visitation for Curtis Quisberg will be held Friday, December 19, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris, MN.
Visitation will continue from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at First Lutheran Church in Morris, MN.
Funeral services for Curtis Quisberg will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at First Lutheran Church in Morris, MN, with Reverend Matt Orendorff officiating.
Burial will be in Summit Cemetery in Morris, MN.
Curtis Gene Quisberg was born on September 24, 1937, in Georgeville, Minnesota the son of Henry and Jennie (Northrup) Quisberg. He grew up in Belgrade, MN and graduated from Belgrade High School, Class of 1956. While in high school, he joined the National Guard.
Curtis married Mary Anne Hanson on April 2, 1960. The couple lived in a number of towns including the Twin Cities, Pelican Rapids, Wyndmere, ND, Belgrade, Morris, Owatonna, Farmington and finally back to Morris.
Curtis worked as a farm laborer, at Smith-Roles (over the road sales), Orschelns in Owatonna, Farmington and Morris, and Coast to Coast, Brothers Industries, Superior and John Deere all in Morris. He retired from John Deere in 2002. Curtis also owned and operated Curt’s Small Engine Repair out of his home through 2015.
He was a member of First Lutheran Church in Morris where he served as an usher.
Curtis enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, collecting and restoring toy tractors, collecting eagle memorabilia, and repairing small engines at his home shop. He could fix anything!.
Survivors include his wife: Mary Anne of Morris, MN; children: Michelle (Mark) Raths of Morris, MN, James (Deb) Quisberg of Gladbrook, Iowa, Merilee (Duane) Thiele of Strandburg, South Dakota, and Joilie (Jim) Ebbers of Hector, MN; siblings: Barbara Anderson of St. Paul Park, MN. Shirley (Jim) Swenson of Morrill, Nebraska, and Kevin (Diane) Quisberg of Osakis, MN; sister-in-law: Shirley Quisberg of St. Paul, MN; seven grandchildren: Jaclyn (Matt) Smith, Jacob (Riane) Raths, Brandon Raths, Samantha (Jesse) Zeitz, Rebecca (Chris) Favier, Bradley Ebbers, Marissa Ebbers (Austin Bown); great-grandchildren: Teigen, Moriah and Esemae Smith and Gretta, Hadley and Alexis Raths and baby girl Favier due in February; two step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Henry and Jennie; granddaughter: Kayla Quisberg; great-grandson: Puller Zeitz; brother: Michael Quisberg; and brother-in-law: Doug Anderson.
