Darlene Lois Stock-Hogeboom age 87 formerly of Belle Plaine, died on December 19, 2024 in St. Peter, MN. Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. on December 27, 2024 at St. John Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church on Friday. Interment will be in the Arlington Public Cemetery. Rev. Diane Goulson will officiate. In Lieu of flowers memorials preferred,

Darlene was born on April 28, 1937 to Carl and Leona (Buesing) Sellnow in Blakeley Township, Sibley County Minnesota. She was baptized and confirmed in Trinity Lutheran Church. She grew up near Blakeley, MN. On July 2, 1954, she married Marvin B. Stock at Trinity Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine. Together they lived in Arlington on the family farm and later to Anoka. They were blessed with two children. Marvin passed away on September 11, 1967. Darlene moved to St. Francis, N and worked various jobs over the years. On April 4, 1974, she married Wayne Hogeboom. They moved to Belle Plaine and owned and operated Wayne’s Furniture and Service Center. Wayne passed away om May 17, 2002. After his death, she continued to fun their business and lived in Bell Plaine. She retired in 2006. She was a member of the VFW Aux., American Legion Aux., Belle Plaine Historical Society, American Red Cross Blood Mobile, Friends of the Library, St. John Altar Guild. She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Marvin Stock and Wayne Hogeboom, daughter Janell Stock.

Darlene is survived by her son, Warren (Gerry) of Ramsey; grandchildren Jessica (Ryan) Teasdall, Jason ( Lisa) Stock; great grandchildren Matthew Stock, Jackson Teasdall, Abigail Stock, Charles Teasdall and Camdan Teasdall.
