Dennis E. Jeurissen

Dennis E. Jeurissen, age 78, of Shakopee, MN, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2026, at his home.

Survivors include his life partner of 38 years, Joan Doolittle and her daughter, Michelle Doolittle, and her grandson, Jaron Schmidt; other survivors are his siblings, John (Peggy) Jeurissen, and Linda Schroers; sister-in-law, Bonnie Jeurissen; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents, Edward and Elizabeth Jeurissen; brothers, Donald and Allan Jeurissen; brother-in-law, Kenneth Schroers; and niece, Jessica Moldenhauer.

Visitation Friday, January 9, 2026, from 10-11 AM, followed by a Funeral Service at 11 AM, all at McNearney-Schmidt Funeral and Cremation, 1220 3rd Ave. East, Shakopee. Interment Catholic Cemetery in Shakopee. The celebration of Denny’s life will continue, after the burial, with a luncheon at the Shakopee V.F.W. Post 4046, 1201 3rd Ave. East, Shakopee. The family prefers memorials.
