Driver Injured in Meeker Co Crash

A driver was injured in a Meeker County crash just after midnight this morning (Thursday) near Litchfield.

The Sheriff’s Office says 40-year-old Daniel Minton of rural Litchfield was taken to Meeker Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash happened at the intersection of CSAH 1 and 255th Street.

Authorities say a pickup truck driven by Minton was located off the roadway having sustained heavy damage from impact with a row of trees.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor.
