Driver Injured in Wright Co Crash

A driver was injured in a single-vehicle crash in Wright County Friday afternoon.

The State Patrol says 86-year-old Ronald Simpson of Annandale was taken to Buffalo Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The Patrol says Simpson was traveling westbound on Highway 55 near Fairhaven Avenue in South Haven when he lost control and the vehicle went off the road and collided with a tree.

The crash happened just before 3pm.
