Duane Deutsch

Duane Deutsch, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, veteran, farmer, and friend, passed away March 24, 2025.

A time of gathering will be held for Duane on Thursday, April 3, 2025, from 4:00-7:00 PM, at Ballard-Sunder Funeral & Cremation (104 First Street West) in Jordan. An additional gathering will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, from 10:00-10:50 AM, followed by a celebration of life at 11:00 AM, at the Ridges on Sand Creek Golf Course (21775 Ridges Drive) in Jordan. Military honors will be provided by the Jordan Vets Honor Guard.

Duane is deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by his wife, Karrie; his children: Kelly (Mel Whitson) Deutsch, Mathew (Apryl) Deutsch, Hannah (Ted) Breeggemann, Sarah (Adrian) Perryman, Jaimie (Michael) Beelow, and Mandi (Heath) Herman; and his grandchildren: Addison, Lacey, Jillian, McKenna, Beckett, Wyatt, Chase, Colt, and McCoy. He is also survived by his brother Milton Deutsch; sisters Joan (Duane) Farkus, Marilyn Bergmann, and Carmen (Richard) Glynn.

 

Duane was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Eunice Deutsch; sisters-in-law Lois Deutsch, Linda Savage, and Debbie Edaburn; and brother-in-law Bob Bergmann.

His legacy of love, humor, and service will live on through all who had the honor of knowing him.
