Eden, Bender and Rustad garner post season honors!

The Minnesota College Athletic Conference has announced the 2024 MCAC Softball All-Division awards and the All-MCAC Team this week.
Northland Pioneer sophmore shortstop Sunny Edin was named to the MCAC North All-DIvision 1st team and also to the All-MCAAC Team.

Pioneer infielder Shavonda Bender and first baseman Reese Rustad were named the the MCAC North All-Division second team.
The Poneers finished the 2024 schedule with a 8 win and 7 loss conference record, 8-18 overall.

Central Lakes College freshman pitcher and infielder, Kaitlyn Geschwill, was named the MCAC North Division Player-of-the-Year.
Central Lakes College head softball coach Ray Austin earned the MCAC North Division Coach-of-the-Year honor.

Jenna Boos, a pitcher and infielder for St. Cloud Technical and Community College, has earned the 2024 South Division Softball Player-of-the-Year honor.

Jaimi Stejskal, head coach at Rochester Community and Technical College, and Greg Thorstad, head coach at St. Cloud Technical and Community College, were both named MCAC South Division Coaches-of-the-Year.
