Edwards, Wolves beat up Bulls

(Minneapolis, MN) — Minnesota star Anthony Edwards was unstoppable as the Timberwolves took down the Chicago Bulls 127-108 last night at the Target Center. The Wolves took an early 21-point lead in the first quarter, but the Bulls stormed back to go up by five in the second period. However, Minnesota outscored Chicago 65-48 in the second half to take control of the game. Edwards poured in 49 points in the victory, while Naz Reid chipped in with 22 points and 10 rebounds. The Wolves have won six of eight to improve to 28-23. Coby White led Chicago with 20 points. The Bulls have dropped two of three and sit at 22-30. Minnesota entertains Houston tonight in Minneapolis at 7 P-M. The 32-18 Rockets have dropped four straight, including Tuesday’s 99-97 decision in Brooklyn.
