Endorsed DFL and GOP Candidates Win Minnesota Senate Primary Elections

(Minnesota News Network- St. Paul, MN) — The matchups are set for two Minnesota Senate special elections in November. State Representative Amanda Hemmingsen Jaeger of Woodbury won the Senate District 47 Democratic primary Tuesday with 82 percent of the vote. She will face Republican candidate Dwight Dorau for the seat of former Senator Nicole Mitchell. In the Senate District 29 Republican primary, Michael Holmstrom, Junior won a three-way race with more 73 percent support. He will take on D-F-L candidate Louis McNutt for the seat of the late Senator Bruce Anderson of Buffalo.
