Explosion Postpones Brooks & Dunn Concert

An underground explosion happened on the Texas Tech campus this past weekend that caused them to reschedule the Brooks & Dunn concert for later this week.  Students were reporting green fire and purple smoke billowing out from pothole covers at different spots on campus.

The explosion forced the school to close two days in a row and Brooks & Dunn’s concert to be rescheduled for Thursday, March 20th.

Turns out it was just one underground explosion but students were reporting green fire and purple smoke billowing out from under pothole covers at different spots on campus.  According to a local news outlet, no one was hurt in the explosion or subsequent underground fires.
