FAIRGROUNDS EXHIBITION HALL DEMOLISHED

The oldest structure on the Brown County Fairgrounds is no more.  The former exhibition hall was demolished Monday after standing for 116 years.  Officials say the building had fallen i9into disrepair and costs to repair it were too high.  A tree hit the building a few years ago during a storm.  The exhibition hall was originally constructed in 1909 and in the past couple of years it was used for FFA chapters to show small animals.    It isn’t known yet what will go on the site.
