FAREWELL FOR HANS JOOHS PRACTICAL EXCHANGE INTERN SAM KNOOPS
The Hans Joohs Sister Cities Practical Exchange Intern Sam Knoops is heading home. A farewell celebration was held at the Kegel Club in New Ulm Monday evening and many came to bid farewell to Knoops who has been in New Ulm from Ulm for the past few months. He said there were several highlights including being a member of the Concord Singers. He also said he really enjoyed spending time with his host families and also working at Schell’s Brewery. Knoops has this advice if anyone is considering applying for the Hans Joohs Cultural Exchange program…
Knoops says his flight leaves (left) at 11:30 this (Tuesday) morning. He will have a layover in Chicago for a couple of hours and then a straight flight to Germany. He will spend some time with his parents and then go back to work Monday.
