FarmHER Night Out on July 8th

Stevens Soil and Water Conservation District will present a program geared for women in agriculture titled “farmHer Night Out!” on Tuesday, July 8 at Old Number One Southside in Morris. The program begins with registration, a social hour and vendor show from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., followed by a taco bar dinner at 6 p.m. Speakers include Amy Larson of Larson Farms discussing “The Stresses and Joys of Farm Life,” and Johanna Franey of the Morris Farmers Market on “Local Foods, Buying Local and Small Business Support.” Vendors include Tastefully Simple, baked goods, Farmers Market vendors, household supplies, and more. Attendees will be entered for door prizes just for attending. Tickets are $20 per person and available at the door.
