Update: Names Released in Fatal Kandiyohi Co Crash

Authorities have released more information on a fatal head-on crash in Kandiyohi County Tuesday evening involving two vehicles.

The State Patrol says 69-year-old Joyce Nokleby and 83-year-old Llewellyn Nokleby, both of Benson, died at the scene. They were the driver and passenger in an SUV that was traveling westbound on Highway 12 near Pennock.

The other vehicle, driven by 45-year-old Douglas Robinson of Waseca, was traveling eastbound on Highway 12. He was taken to St. Cloud Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash happened at about 7pm.
