Fatal McLeod County Crash

The driver of a utility vehicle died in a crash with a pickup in McLeod County Saturday evening on the east side of Hutchinson.

The State Patrol says 80-year-old William Christensen of Hutchinson died at the scene.

The driver of the pickup, 82-year-old Allan Hoff, was not injured.  His passenger, 77-year-old Patricia Hoff of Fergus Falls was taken to Hutchinson ER for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The Patrol says both vehicles were westbound on Highway 7 when they made contact near the intersection of Highway 22 just after 6pm.
