Fatal Vehicle Crash in Kandiyohi County

Green Lake Township – On 6/6/2024, at 9:27pm, the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two vehicle crash at the intersection of County Road 8 & County Road 26. 

A 2006 Chevrolet Silverado operated by a 17 year old male from Kandiyohi was traveling south on County Road 8. A 2024 Ford Escape was traveling east on Co Road 26 which failed to stop at the stop sign. The vehicles collided killing both occupants in the Ford Escape. 

The identities of the deceased will be released at a later time pending family notification. 

The Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the MN State Patrol, Kandiyohi Fire & 1st Responders, Kandiyohi County Rescue Squad, Atwater Ambulance, Centra Care Ambulance and Life Link.
