Federal Jury Finds Man Guilty of Sexually Abusing Incapacitated Minor
A federal jury has found a Red Lake man guilty of two counts of sexually abusing a minor.
According to acting U.S. Attorney Lisa D. Kirkpatrick, Clarence Clark Jr. “sexually assaulted a minor victim who was physically incapacitated at a Red Lake Reservation home in the early morning hours of March 1, 2024”.
Kirkpatrick says court documents and evidence presented at trial show that another minor was present at the home and interrupted the assault then ran to a neighbor’s home for help. Clark was found intoxicated at the scene and was apprehended by Red Lake Tribal Police.
Clark was convicted May 15th in U.S. District Court before Judge John R. Tunheim.
