Felon Indicted for Illegal Possession of Firearms

A Mahnomen man has been charged with illegal possession of firearms as a felon. 

According to Acting U.S. Attorney Lisa D. Kirkpatrick, Adam James Webster (23) was allegedly found to be in possession of a Remington rifle and 12 gauge shot gun in July of 2023. 

Webster has a prior felony conviction in Mahnomen County for third degree assault, and is prohibited under federal law from possessing firearms or ammunition at any time. 

The indictment charges Webster with one count of illegal possession of firearms.
