Here are the results from the Friday local schedule:

Boy’s Basketball:

Waseca was a 82 to 66 winner over St James and Marshall pounds Tri City United 93 to 29. Tomahawk Finals-Sleepy Eye wins the crosstown matchup 78 to 66 over St Mary’s, Lester Prairie was a 62 to 30 winner over BLHS. Crossover finals-Nicollet defeats Cathedral 68 to 58 and Cedar Mountain was a 69 to 52 winner over Martin County West.

Girl’s Basketball:

St James defeats Waseca 52 to 49, Jackson County Central was a 73 to 44 winner over Redwood Valley and Marshall wins big over Tri City United 78 to 46. Crossover finals-Nicollet defeats Cathedral 72 to 44, Cedar Mountain was a 78 to 35 winner over Madelia and Springfield wins a non-league matchup over Tracy/Milroy/Balaton 56 to 52. South Central finals-St Clair defeats LCWM 70 to 58 and Maple River was a 66 to 56 winner over Sibley East. Tomahawk final-BLHS defetas GFW 67 to 40.

Section Team Wrestling:

4A:

Quarter-finals-Eden Valley/Watkins was a 41 to24 winner over Kimball Area and Lesueur/Henderson defeats Sibley East55 to 14. Semi-finals-Eden Valley/watkins upsets top seed Central 34 to 30 and Lesueur/Henderson upsets the two seed St Agnus 44 to 18. Championship-Lesueur/Henderson will be going to the State team Tournament with a 38 to 29 win over Eden Valley/Watkins.

Boy’s Hockey:

Minnesota River and Luverne play to a 3 to 3 overtime tie and Tartan shuts out Fairmont 17 to 0.

Section Girl’s Hockey:

2A Championship-River Lakes is heading to the State Tournament with a 4 to 0 win over Willmar.

College Men’s Hockey:

St Scholastica was a 4 to 2 winner over the visiting Gustavus squad.
