Fire in Courtland

Fire crews responded to a fire in a shop at 120 Shady Oak Road in Courtland Saturday evening.

Courtland Fire Chief Dave Ubel says the call came just before 6pm.

Ubel said there were acetylene welding cylinders in the shop and they set off explosions that were heard throughout Courtland.

No one was injured and the cause is under investigation.
